The Character: Female challenge is over. Find out who won!

Our latest 3D design challenge was more about its message than the prizes or awesome models. We want to sincerely thank everyone for participating in the 3D Character: Female challenge and sharing their works with our community.

Characters are one of the toughest categories of 3D modeling, which is why this challenge was especially demanding. Nevertheless, more than a 150 submissions participated in the challenge. We hope it will be the first domino that starts a change in the way females are portrayed in the 3D industry. You can read more about our insights into the market, which clearly show, that non-sexual 3D models of women are actually more in demand, and why, in the blog post that announced this challenge.

The winners will receive prizes provided by Marmoset, Allegorithmic, Quixel, Cebas, 3D-Coat, and FoxRenderfarm, who gladly agreed to support this important social initiative and made this challenge possible. This challenge had the largest prize pool yet – $8,500. Participants competed in two categories: Realistic and Imaginary characters.
