Hey there customers are finding Shapeways expensive and I was wondering if there was a way to sell limited use 3d print model files?
ie is there a way where customers can download your file but only use it say once on their choice of 3d printer?
I guess I want to avoid people ripping off my file and giving it to anyone or selling it themselves?

Quick answer: no. Once the person has your file, there's nothing to stop them from redistributing it. You can request that they do not do that, and in fact, it should be in the EULA anyway, but realistically there's no way to control that. There are resources out there where you can limit the number of downloads or availability on a model, but that's not something we have here at CGtrader currently.
