I really want to learn more about how to make these 3D prints. This one looks pretty great! Where did you have yours printed?

I use this printer is the cheapest on the market. I am very satisfied : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4lHAk6jUFTk To print a model like Uncle Scrooge, it takes three hours. the glossy effect is obtained with an acetone vapor bath. just put a little acetone in a jar and heat, suspend the model in the vapors (without touching acetone) for one or two minutes

for this model i think you can print it with almost any printer
the only thing to focus is the 'overhang'
(where the the filament will drop into air)
like the hands, mouth , and back hair

you have to add support material for those areas

the shiny + smooth finish just like SuperCigale said :
bathing the object into vapor of acetone (acetone vapor bath)

no need to add support materials, the printer produces at the same time the supports and the model with a finest plastic layer, so it takes off easily
