Have you heard the term "starving artists"? I don't want to dissuade you from continuing, but it might be a good idea to have an alternate fall back plan. You can still continue being creative, but there is a lot of competition out there willing to work practically for nothing, which basically drives down prices for everyone. So it's difficult to make a living from just doing 3D. No impossible though.

Su modelo esta muy bueno. Igualmente, no debería rendirse tan fácil. Hay demasiada competencia y todos pretendemos ganar algo. Considere en hacer rebajas en su producto de vez en cuando, como por ejemplo un BlackFriday o por temporada. Así por lo menos, le genera competencia al resto.

¡ÉXITOS!

You can't give up of being an artist. You are either an artist or you are not.

Thanks for reading, your comments helped me, I was a bit disappointed because I couldn't get jobs and the first job I got was a scam that took me a lot of effort, anyway this helped me to give a bit of retrospective to how I should continue my career.

Despite my "starving artists" comment, jguroo's comment about being an artist is very true. The artists are the ones who have the imagination to make a new and better world. You will always be an artist. Even if you don't pursue it as a career, your imagination will be appreciated.

There is no such thing as "starving artist", artist who is good and isn't afraid of work won't have a problem finding a job. The thing that do exist is "greedily hungry" people, yes people, not artists. Someone who downloaded 3d model, opened it in native software, hit render button, and than that same archive upload here with those "just hit render button" renders and sell that for 5$ (ok some of them sell for 100$ in order to look legit) is not an artist, matter of fact very far from it. Because of this type of people who upload those models usually on average 10-50 daily and who are majority here on CGT, life here on CGT is/can be hard for legit artist because it's imposible to cope with it, and if someone is expecting to earn money (not to say living) just from selling on CGT, that will make him starve, which is his/hers own fault. I have spoked with some of the biggest names here, and they told me that, if they didn't started their business long time ago, and if they don't have their regular customers base they won't have any chance to grow their business here because of nowdays "unnecessary" competition. So when it comes to CGT (I can't comment on anything else because author of the topic didn't mentioned anything) everyone here have problems, but that doesn't mean that anyone should give up their skills and started doing something else, matter of fact skills should never be thrown away, you never know where it can become useful, and please remove that free model, the last thing you and everyone else here need is someone selling your very good model for 2$-5$.

I value this kind of honesty and given what you say makes a lot of sense, thank you and I'll put a price on it again.

Always keep your mind open for solutions, work the skills and strive to become better everyday, future looks bright for good artists. You can get to wherever you want but avoid thoughts that divide your mind about that (in other words, keep the focus).

You don't have to give up if you like the job
