I have experienced 1 time,

the buyer thought my model was real thing so they buy it, mostly from women. But i have to return the money because the buyer haven't still downloaded it. This happen in other 3dmarket site because this site keep money and take responbility about download models.

On your case, if the buyer haven't downloaded your model, i think you should return the money to him.

If he have downloaded it, so he have to pay for that because he didn't read careful about description of that model, but it depend on your generous, or you can deal with him to repay 50% of the money because of his mistaken.

It can happen, some want to get a free model, some actually believed it was real. Once a person who believed one of my models was real wrote me to buy 30 specimen, but he was in good faith.
The I thought it was real thing happens on all sites, but I guess this is a risk of dealing with customers directly. I wander if CGTrader crew could tell if this person is a returning customer or not.
Did they ask Paypal or Skrill for a refund?

The crazy thing is there are thousands of digital 3d models on all the 3d sites that are more expensive than the real thing.
Just one example:
