On your models (if design is completely developed by you and doesn't resemble for example anything from Cartier collection) you can make engraving in any place. This can be seen simply as part of the design.
hi,
I’m new here. I created some models that I haven’t published yet, as this occurred to me:
I want to sell those models for people to keep or use for casting and potentially making duplicates.
should I stamp (do an ‘engraving’) the model with my name in a discreet area?
It would be nice to have people know the piece was imagined by me, wherever it ends up being bought as a solid piece of jewellery.
but do I have the right to do that? Or is it going to deter buyers? They may also want to be recognised for printing and casting the piece and may be bothered if my name cannot be taken off?
What do you guys think ?
thanks for any returns !

Of course you have every right to put a stamp on your model but IMHO it may deter buyers.
Is your name / logo / brand well known that it will be recognized by final user? Probably not. Even the final user might see that stamp as something confusing and unnecessary.
It would make sense to put a stamp on product that is completely designed and produced and sold by you as final product.
You should find satisfaction in royalties which you get with every item sold so be sure to have "editorial" or "custom" license on your models.
thank you both
