When should I mark a job as 'finished'

Hi,
I have so far a very good cooperation with an artist. It seems that the job will finish without any issues.
I am wondering when I should mark the job as finished. Should I receive first the files from the artist, and then mark the job as finished?
If I mark the job as finished and the artist will not send me the files, how the cgtrader will protect me?

Hey, If an artist is working with you far a long time, then you should trust him.
Because he spends all his time to completing that project well within the time limit.
And If his work has approved by you, then you should not worry about this because if he is giving you time then he will definitely send you file. Thanks :)
